Remembering Cheng Du

I was thinking of those affected by the recent earthquake in China. These are a few of the images I captured in 2005 when I visited Chengdu, one of the cities hardest hit.

Two beautiful little girls who's parents were kind enough to let me photograph them. I bet big sister was in school that day - I hope she's okay.

Wow, you've been to China!

What a great way to personalize this for us. It makes it so much more real to see your pictures.

Thanks for the pictures. I wonder about those girls now too. What a shame.

I envy your travel experience; have wanted to visit China for many years. I pray that those two precious girls are OK, and feel so sad for the family who suffered such terrible losses. Thanks for sharing.

The picture of those girls...puts a face to the suffering. So scary, so sad.
